Bunec – Leunovo – Nikiforovo

Project Description

The road is with approximate length of 13km and asphalt concrete pavement construction with variable width. Passes by Mavrovo lake, and on some places intersects some facilities. The road construction is in relatively good condition, but some parts of the road are very deformed.

Project Challenge

The subject of this contract is preparation of technical documentation on level of Infrastructure project and Final Detailed Design. The main design is prepared on the basis of pre-approved Project for infrastructure.

What We Did

The necessity for reconstruction and rehabilitation of the regional road R2235, section Bunec - Leunovo - Nikiforovo occurs because of the situation of the road on certain sections, and at certain locations where there are potentially unstable parts of the terrain by the lake.

Result

The Designer is engaged in preparation of technical documentation, obtaining agreements, preparation of main design for temporary traffic regime during construction works, design for infrastructure, Preparation of Technical Report, Bill of Quantity and technical conditions for execution of works, Final Detailed Design for rehabilitation and reconstruction including widening of the carriageway and rehabilitation of the road structures; environmental impact assessment study including Environmental and Social Assessment report and Environmental Management Plans as per WB criteria, topographical survey with detailed survey of the damages, topographical data update, site and laboratory geotechnical and geomechanical investigations, provision of design for pavement structure, drainage and culverts design, design for rehabilitation of road furniture, preparation of Road Safety Audit.
